The 2018/2019 football season is now in the history books. Marked as a TB Berlin highlight, the state cup final and I was there live.
On behalf of TB Berlin, I started with the home game of TB Berlin against Lichtenberg 47 in the Oberliga Nordost, in the end a happy 1:1 for Lichtenberg, thanks to a well-placed long-range shot. One day after Nikolaus, TB played Blau-Weiss 90 Berlin in the evening and in non-stop rain. After all, the floodlights were switched on and the football romance took its course. Parked in the players' tunnel, I prepared my camera for the next 90 minutes. I fixed an extra rain cover over my telephoto lens, stowed everything else and off we went. So that the audience can be seen in the photos, I always stood on the opposite side of the grandstand. Nobody wants to see an empty stadium in the photos, no matter how beautiful it is.
