@München, Deutschland

@Munich, Germany

- 10/14/2014 -

From the end of 2013 until last summer, I was allowed to be part of the 1.4 million people in Munich. A really eventful and successful time came to an end with a self-created 15-minute TV report (" Das WM Quiz 2014 "). In order to stay physically fit, I usually drove to the Olympic Park by car, ran through the park for an hour and went to the swimming pool for another hour. It was probably the Olympic Stadium, which I "wanted" to see every Saturday morning. After the workout, I sit down on the Olympiaberg, looked down at the stadium and wrote down this observation, among other things:

- Typical sightseeing for normal tourists in Munich? Marienplatz, Frauenkirche, Nymphenburg Palace, Stachus, Odeonsplatz.

- Typical sightseeing for football fans? Allianz Arena, Olympic Stadium, Grünwalder Stadium.

All points may be magical and drawing in, but in stadiums memory, experience or disappointment are shared equally. Allianz Arena example: Everyone probably remembers where they saw the 2006 World Cup opening game Germany against Costa Rica in the Allianz Arena and Philipp Lahm's amazing goal or even the lost CL final "Dahaom" (Bayern against Chelsea London). . Take the example of the Olympic Stadium: As a boy born in 1993, the first thing that comes to mind is the German championship from SV Werder Bremen, because I consciously came into contact with football for the first time in 2003/2004.

Which sporting events follow here or there, may they be beautiful and (positively) unforgettable.
