As the unofficial state number 17, Mallorca has much more to offer than just presenting itself as a typical summer drinking and party island. In the southern municipality of Campos, between the town of Ses Covetes and the resort of Colonia Sant Jordi, for example, there is the longest sandy beach, 'Es Trenc', at three kilometers. The fine sandy dunes round off this wonderful spot of Mallorca with a touch of the Caribbean. Nature lovers, those interested in culture and 'summerly idlers' will get their money's worth and enjoy the diverse range of activities on the island, while party-goers can enjoy the exciting nightlife of the island's capital, Palma. With a rented bike, palm trees accompany you almost everywhere along the way. From the port it is a good 40 minutes and several meters of altitude with such a vehicle until the Estadi de Son Moix can finally be seen. It is difficult to get a real insight into the stadium, which opened in 1999. Meter-high, locked gates, fences and screens allow me to look at the upper tiers at most. I don't get discouraged and make the best of it, true to the motto "Foreground makes the picture healthy.".
